Mokosh is one of Hey Mama Wolf’s most popular yarns. It’s a 2-ply, sport-weight yarn made from Merino d'Arles GOTS-certified wool. With a 21 micron count, this is the softest wool native to Europe. This rare sheep breed hails from southern France. Due to the high crimp of its fleece, yarn spun from this wool has pockets of trapped air, providing insulation and resulting in warmer garments.
