Next Level Colourwork: The Spicy Hat
People of the world, Spice up your knits...with STASH’s new colourwork class! This project is a great warm-up to tackle those extra spicy colourwork yoke sweaters and build your skills. In this class you will learn: corrugated ribbing, handling longer floats, colourwork with no rest rows (no mayo here!) and managing not 2 … but 3 colours per row. We'll also chat about swatching for colourwork sweaters and our in house colourwork expert will be available to answer all your questions. This is an intermediate class, and would be ideal for confident knitters who are comfortable with stranded colourwork but are looking for an upgraded challenge. Hai Si Ja, hold tight!
Skills Required: Peeps must be confident knitters with a few stranded colourwork projects under their belt, as well be comfortable knitting a hat using circular needles and double pointed needles. This class is spicy! If you're not quite ready to handle the heat, our Sweet Knit Hat and Intro to Colourwork Cowl can build up your heat tolerance!
All supplies are included! Your class kit will contain a full ball of the main colour (choose from the drop down menu), white and charcoal yarn for the contrast colours, needles, and any necessary notions.
Class Cancellation Policy:
If you cannot make your class, you must give STASH at least 1 week (7 days) notice in order to receive a refund for the booking. We are also happy to reschedule you to a new date and time if the schedule allows.
Cancellations between 6 days - 72 hours prior to the scheduled class, club, or event are eligible for a move to a future date, or receive a store credit.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class, club, or event are not eligible for a refund or credit.
The first 10 minutes of class are super, duper important! For this reason, we ask that you arrive on time (aim for about 5 minutes early.) If you are more than 10 minute late, you will not be able to join the class.
If you are sick and unable to attend, STASH will work with you to reschedule your participation. Please do not come to class sick.
