Step 1: Choose your yarn - this pattern calls for a worsted weight, non-superwash wool. Non superwash is important because it will help the thrums stay in place. We put all our favourites here for easy pickin'. Berroco Lanas + Cascade 220 are our top picks!

Step 2: Choose your fibre! You'll need about 100g. Whether you want to use a hand dyed braid, or a solid colour, one will do just fine! You can use any fibre, but Merino and Corriedale work particularly well! Avoid blends with additions like silk.

Step 3: Grab your needles - DPNs, Magic Loop, or 9inch circulars will all work. The pattern calls for 3.5mm (US4)
